Connecting to Jellyfin

Jellyfin connects with your server address and account details. Zuno Music can also find Jellyfin servers on your local network automatically.

Signing in

1. On the welcome screen, tap Continue with Jellyfin. To add Jellyfin later, open Settings and add a server.
2. Enter your Server URL, for example http://192.168.1.100:8096.
   • Zuno Music scans your local network and lists any Jellyfin servers it finds, so you can often just tap yours instead of typing the address.
   • You can leave off http://, it’s added automatically. The default Jellyfin port is 8096.
3. Enter your username and password.
4. Tap Sign In. Your music libraries load automatically.

Can’t connect?

If sign-in fails, try switching between http:// and https://, and double-check the port. If your server is set up for secure connections it may only accept https://.

Favourites

Jellyfin supports favourites, so you can star songs, albums, and artists in Zuno Music and they save back to your server. See Favourites.

Remote access

To listen away from home, your Jellyfin server needs to be reachable from the internet. Once it is, enter its public address the same way. See Remote Access & Connection Issues.

Troubleshooting the connection

“Cannot connect to server.” Check the address and port, confirm the server is running, and make sure your device is on the same network (or that the server is reachable remotely). Try the other of http:// / https://.

Sign-in is rejected. Re-check your username and password. If your account has no password, leave the field blank.
