Connecting to Plex

Plex is the quickest server to connect: you sign in with your Plex account and your music libraries appear automatically, with nothing to type.

  1. On the welcome screen, tap Continue with Plex. To add Plex later, open Settings and add a server.
  2. Zuno Music opens the Plex sign-in page in a secure window inside the app.
  3. Sign in with your Plex account and authorise Zuno Music. Your libraries load automatically.

If your Plex account has access to more than one server (for example your own and a friend’s shared server), their music libraries appear together in Zuno Music. You can add other servers, including Jellyfin and Navidrome, later; see Multiple Servers.

Plex doesn’t have a simple star for favourites the way Jellyfin and Navidrome do. On Plex, use Add to Library to keep the albums, artists, and playlists you care about together. See Favourites for how this works.

Plex handles remote access for you. As long as your Plex Media Server has Remote Access enabled and is signed in to the same Plex account, Zuno Music can reach it whether you are at home or away, with no manual address or port needed.

If a server is unreachable, see Remote Access & Connection Issues.

My libraries aren’t showing. Make sure you completed the Plex sign-in and authorised Zuno Music. You can re-run the connection from Settings.

A server is missing from the list. Confirm it is powered on, signed in to the same Plex account, and (if you are away from home) has Remote Access enabled.
