Downloads & Offline Playback

Download music to your device so you can listen with no connection — on a flight, on the subway, or anywhere your server can’t be reached. When a download is available, Zuno Music plays it instead of streaming.

Use the download button on an album, playlist, or individual song:

  1. Open the album, playlist, or song.
  2. Tap the download button.
  3. The button animates as the download progresses.

When you download an album, Zuno Music shows how each song is getting on, so you can see the whole album’s progress at a glance.

Once music is downloaded, it’s stored on your device. Zuno Music prefers your downloaded copy over streaming, so downloaded songs play instantly and keep working with no connection.

Downloaded music is kept on the device you downloaded it to. Remove a download from the same button you used to start it, freeing up the space again.

A download won’t finish. Downloads currently run while Zuno Music is open, so keep the app in the foreground until they complete. If a download stalls, try removing it and starting again with a stable connection.
