Getting Started

Zuno Music turns your personal music server into a polished listening experience on your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and Mac. Getting set up takes two steps: install the app, then connect your server.

Zuno Music is available on the App Store for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and Mac.

  1. Open the App Store on your device.
  2. Search for Zuno Music.
  3. Tap Get to install.

When you first open Zuno Music, you’ll be asked to connect a music server. Zuno Music works with Plex, Jellyfin, and Navidrome.

Plex is the quickest to set up. You just sign in with your Plex account.

  1. On the welcome screen, tap Continue with Plex.
  2. Sign in to Plex in the window that appears and authorise Zuno Music. Your music libraries appear automatically.

For Jellyfin and Navidrome, you enter your server details.

  1. On the welcome screen, tap Continue with Jellyfin or Continue with Navidrome.
  2. Enter your Server URL: for example http://192.168.1.100:8096 for Jellyfin, or http://192.168.1.100:4533 for Navidrome.
    • Zuno Music also scans your local network and lists any servers it finds, so you can often just tap yours instead of typing the address.
    • You can leave off http://, it’s added automatically. If you can’t connect, try switching between http:// and https://.
  3. Enter your username and password.
  4. Tap Sign In.

You can add more servers at any time later from Settings.

Once your server is connected, your music appears on the home screen. Pick something and press play.

Next: see Playback & Queue to learn the player, or Troubleshooting & FAQ if something isn’t working.
